Biography

Lance Gilbert is the official stunt double for actor Mel Gibson (since 1997). Lance has been credited as stunt coordinator, stunt double, stunt performer, and sometimes as an actor in almost one hundred movies. As a stunt coordinator, Lance Gilbert is best known for The Final Destination, The Eye, Planet Terror, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, and xXx. In 2001, Lance Gilbert has been nominated for a Taurus award for Best Work with an Animal for his work on The Patriot. In 2003, Lance Gilbert won a Taurus award for Best Stunt Coordinator for his work on xXx.
