Biography
She took her first steps in acting as a teenager. She made her debut at the Roma Musical Theater in Warsaw. At the age of fifteen, she went to first casting in her life and won it, getting a role in one of the most popular Polish series â ârodzinka.plâ. It gave her popularity and opened the door to further career. Julia made her debut on the big screen in Patryk Vegaâs movie âWomen of Mafiaâ. Later, she starred in a number of cinema productions â such as âSmall Worldâ (dir. Patryk Vega) or awarded at the Tribeca Film Festival â âSuicide Room: The Haterâ (dir. Jan Komasa). The actress could also be seen in Netflix hits, which were appreciated by viewers around the world: âNobody Sleeps In The Woods Tonightâ (dir. Bartosz Kowalski), âAll My Friends Are Deadâ (dir. Jan Belcl) or âHow I Fell in Love with a Gangsterâ (dir. Maciej Kawulski). She played one of the leading roles in the TV series âZawsze wartoâ awarded with Telekamera â one of the most important television awards in Poland. Julia Wieniawa also has a dubbing experience. She lent her voice to Cinderella in the Polish version of movie âCinderella and the Secret Princeâ, as well as Salma in the âSalmaâs Big Wishâ. The actress has played theatrical roles as well. She appeared in the Television Theater production âDoĹÄga-Mostowicz. Kiedy zamykam oczyâ (dir. Marek Bukowski) and in the play âDom Lalki 2â (dir. Tomasz Dutkiewicz) staged at the capitalâs Komedia Theatre. From February 2023, we can see her at the Garnizon Sztuki Theater in Warsaw in the play âGraâ directed by Norbert Rakowski.
