Summary

Sophie Bredier, born in South Korea and then adopted at four and a half years by a French family, is pregnant. This event upsets her with her intimate and social identity. How can you have a child yourself when you know nothing of its origins and you feel foreign to your own body? This inner journey leads her to reflect on physical difference and roots, on the links with those around her while returning her to her double childhood - French and Korean.
