Deadly Tropics - Season 7Episode List

Track No. 6
The crime scene has been scrubbed clean, leaving them with few clues. There is no doubt: this time, they are dealing with a professional. Alongside their investigation, they welcome an officer from the IGPN, who has arrived to lend a hand in tracking down Lebracâs killer. The leads grow increasingly muddled as the investigation proceeds, until Phil puts forward a hypothesis: the two murders might be linked.

Saint Mary
MĂ©lissa still bears the scars of her confrontation with ClĂ©mence. Craving a rush, she unconsciously gives in to taking unnecessary risksâto the point of alarming GaĂ«lle, though the latter, too absorbed in her motherâs revelations, struggles to even notice. It is with these vulnerabilities that our two investigators embark on a new case: the mysterious death of the owner of a rum barâa tragedy in which family history intertwines with the deceasedâs personal development sessions with a coach.

Three Rivers
Our investigators follow in the footsteps of Paul Gauguin, whose time in Martinique resurfaces in the wake of a crimeâthe murder of a painter who had come to immerse himself in the work of his master. Meanwhile, MĂ©lissa rediscovers a thrill she thought she had lost, taking part in Laurentâs clandestine poker games. Alerted by Phil, GaĂ«lle and AurĂ©lien sense that MĂ©lissa is hiding something from them and decide to tail her before it is too late.

White Hill
The murder of an internationally renowned pianist rocks the island. Visiting as part of a mentorship program, the virtuoso was concealing a secret affair with one of her young studentsâtwenty-five years her junior. Between this forbidden love and the ambitions her presence stirred up, the motives behind her demise are numerous. Meanwhile, GaĂ«lle notices troubling signs in MĂ©lissa: nausea, sudden cravings, emotional roller coasters⊠All clues that, this time, may well herald an unexpected promise.

Jacob's Rock
The lifeless body of a funeral home director is discovered in a cemetery. Since taking the reins of the business, the company had experienced a meteoric riseâachieved through methods that were far from universally accepted. Meanwhile, Arnaud, overjoyed by MĂ©lissaâs news, is already envisioning his future role as a father. MĂ©lissa, however, remains plagued by doubts. As for GaĂ«lle, a minor fender-bender with a clergyman turns into love at first sightâand she is determined not to let this chance slip away.

The Meadow
A renowned fashion designer is found murdered in his studio. Against the advice of her colleagues, MĂ©lissa insists on taking part in the investigation. She is pregnant, certainlyâbut not incapacitated. As the investigation stalls, a discovery breathes new life into the case: the victim had reportedly been warnedâin minute detailâof his own death... by a famous psychic on the island. Meanwhile, GaĂ«lle refuses to let go of Jason. To stay close to him, she throws herself into the life of his church.

The Embankment
AurĂ©lienâs cousin is found critically injured in her banana plantation by her son. Her employee, however, did not survive the attack. The investigation promises to be delicate: AurĂ©lien is personally affected, and MĂ©lissaâstill shaken by her recent miscarriageâis only just getting back on her feet. Etcheverry decides to bring ThaĂŻs onto the case to lend a hand to MĂ©lissa and GaĂ«lle.

Guardhouse
Arnaud abruptly leaves MĂ©lissaâs house. Jason, for his part, has refused to speak to GaĂ«lle since the night they spent together. At that very moment, the lifeless body of a member of a yole team is discovered on a beach. MĂ©lissa and GaĂ«lle have their hands fullâboth personally and professionallyâas they gradually uncover a conch trafficking ring and the victimâs toxic past.
